What Is GRN?

This title is for a top-down, wave-based survival game thrown into a bubbly rainbow-roguelike world. Created by GooseStranger, this more fast-paced title has you brave through the seven colors of the rainbow with the last colors left standing. The main concept poses the player to fight waves of incoming enemies, the first of which is dubbed after a rainbow color: while the intensity and strategy grow, so does the height that you go.

How to Play

The main purpose in GRN is to survive waves of enemies using your arsenal of guns and upgrades. Earn money by killing the baddies, which you will later spend on upgrades and weapons. These shops randomly appear throughout your progress. There are more than 50 upgrades and over 10 guns that allow you the freedom to configure your gameplay style.

Tips & Tricks

Coin Management Is Key: Coins are needed for survival, so decided carefully between spending for upgrades and new weapons.
Upgrade Variety Is Your Friend: Each upgrade enhances your capabilities differently, so try as many combinations as possible to find what fits you best.
Know Your Enemy Patterns: Each wave behaves asynchronously-from-on-waves, so capitalize on these patterns to give yourself the upper hand.

GRN is a rainbow-roguelike, taking the glances at games like The Binding of Isaac and SNKRX. GooseStranger has put a new spin on this genre with a black vibrant color palette and several challenges meant to keep the player interested.
