What is Mega Zone?

Mega Zone is a classic arcade game built by Interlogic in 1982. It is a side-scrolling shooter-game in which the player pilots a futuristic space craft through hosts of enemies and obstacles. The gameplay was very hard, with bright neon colors for the time, and besides that, you hear the famous "Zap!" sound every time an enemy is hit. It is a fine specimen of the early arcade era, providing a nail-biting experience for some nostalgic throws back and also presenting an exciting challenge for new generation players.

How to Play

In Mega Zone, you control the spaceship at the bottom of the screen. Shooting waves of enemies, picking up power-ups, and trying to survive for as long as possible are the primary duties.
