Game Instructions

Plotting (World 1) is a turn-based strategy and interactive narrative skill. Managing one's resources, forging alliances before putting down competing rivals with cunning tactics is all that is expected of you. The novel incorporation of card combat and political intrigue tests your social skill and situational awareness just as much, perhaps more, than tactical ability. You will also interact with NPCs and face ethically questionable decisions while observing the repercussions of your actions in the open world.

Always keep an eye on your rivals' motivations. Understanding their goals can give you the upper hand.
Balance your resources wisely. Spreading yourself too thin can leave you vulnerable.
Design a deck with many options for combat. Having many cards of similar nature will make your style apparent.

Keep calm and don't rush! Often, patience pays off in Plotting, and sometimes the best move is to wait and evaluate the situation.

History

Plotting (World 1) was developed by a group of indie developers, who wished to marry strategy with immersive storytelling. Inspired by classic board games, role-playing games, and historical simulations, the game aspires to produce a rich, dynamic world where every player experiences a totally different adventure. Its first world, set in a medieval-esque land, gained very positive feedback for its depth and replay value.
