How to Play

In the game, you move a nimble character that must grapple onto surfaces and dig through blocks leading to the center of each planet. The core gameplay mechanic is easy yet engaging:

Use the grappling hook to swing over gaps and reach higher platforms.
Dig through blocks to expose hidden paths, secrets, and the Gem Fruit.
Collect all the Gem Fruit and complete a level as quickly as possible.

Team Bugulon developed Super Pyonpon for Ludum Dare 57, where developers are challenged to create a game within 72 hours. The development team embraced the theme "Depths," which gave birth to a game with some exploration, some platforming, and a little bit of mystery. Despite the short timeframe, the mechanics are truly polished and the game design engages players completely, whilst being aesthetically charming.
