What Is Aero Fighters 2 / Sonic Wings 2?

Aero Fighters 2/Sonic Wings 2 is Namco's classic 3D shooting adventure of 1997. It is a sort-of sequel to the original Aero Fighters, providing intense action, lively graphics, and peculiar yet famous pilots and planes for players to choose from. The game is famous for smooth gameplay, diverse stages, and competitive multiplayer modes that were well appreciated among the vertical scrolling shooter player community.

How to Play

In Aero Fighters 2, you select a pilot to use as your character. Pilots differ from one another with the types of weapons and abilities they have. History

Created for PlayStation and Sega Saturn, Aero Fighters 2 took advantage of the growing popularity of 3D shooters in the mid-90s, deriving from a very solid shoot 'em up tradition. It improved from the previous game by featuring more intricate graphics, new characters, and advanced some gameplay mechanics. Many sequels and spin-offs later, the title had truly cemented the place of shoot 'em ups in gaming history.
