Double Dragon (World Set 2) came in 1994 as a sequel to the original Double Dragon and arcade sequel Double Dragon II: The New Empire Official. World Set 2 brought in new characters, such as the ninja Akira and a robot known as Bonne, along with more varied enemies and levels. It was mostly praised for its upgraded graphics, gameplay, and story and went on to become a cult classic.
