What is Slope?

Slope is a thrilling arcade racer where you control a ball to roll down an endless neon-lighted track. Not your run-off-the-mill casual game- it's a heart-pounder of a challenge demanding reflexes and precision while sliding down steep slopes, avoiding deadly red obstacles, and pushing on for a higher score. A fine line of silver separates this gameplay from utter simplicity; meanwhile, utter simplicity stands for the crushing difficulty that keeps pulling you back for yet another attempt at your personal best.

How to Play?

To get started, Slope couldn't be simpler; mastering it is another story! Controlling your ball comes down to using the left and right arrow keys provided on your keyboard (or the A and D keys). The aim is simple: keep the ball rolling down the never-ever-ending course. As you go down the ramps, the speed at which the ball rolls increases faster and faster, turning each fraction of a second into a heavier moment. Oops, if you do something wrong, then your ball would fall off the track and your run goes to an end. Making split-second decisions among harder and harder obstacles to keep the ball up and walking on a neon path with its own cracks and bends is frustratingly challenging.

Tips and Tricks

Here is what you need to keep in your mind in order to take over those challenging tracks presented in Slope:

Look far! Keep looking farther down the track and not just at the surface below or right before your ball. This actually gives you some extra time to react to any impending obstacles.
Small movements: Make always gentle and controlled movements. Abrupt turning movements make matters worse because of the ball's momentum.
Find your rhythm: Do carry with you a smooth and steady rhythm throughout your moves as the speed intensifies.
Practice patience: Don't rush! The best players know when to hold back and wait for the right moment to make a move.
Embrace the falls: Every fall is a learning opportunity. Try to identify what went wrong and how you can adjust next time.
