What Is Gar-Type?

This high-octane space shooter is a fast-paced shooter with a little twist. Get into the pilot's cockpit of the Gar-Type D starfighter, that is the starfighter of the seasoned pilot Mr. Jon Starbuckle. Your job is clear: save the humans by fighting through waves of alien invaders. Fast and furious action combined with a bit of strategy inside a very arcade environment makes for a very thrilling roller-coaster ride.

How to Play

G-Field: Right-click to turn on the G-Field; this will deal severe damage to the enemies. It can be used fairly often, and up to two charges can be stocked at once.
G-Field Jump: Hold right-click and drag your cursor to G-Field Jump through solid walls while dodging enemy fire; it's a must-have move through harder stages such as Stage 3.
Combat: Exterminate enemies with your starfighter's arsenal and collect power-ups to boost your skills.

Tips & Tricks

Save Your G-Field for Emergencies: Use it wisely as it is your best weapon; either for tough enemies or tight straits.
Get Pro at G-Field Jumping: This will get you around levels and shield you from enemy fire; it could be the difference between winning and losing.
Keep Moving: For any enemy attack, movement is a counter. Standing still makes you an easy kill.
