What is Rushdown Rivals?

Rushdown Rivals is a frenetic arcade fighting game that places the high-octane mayhem of Super Smash Bros. upon famed Newgrounds characters! From the old school fighting games, this action adventure spins a new storyline about driving away an evil army of robots for some good measure of fighting offense and defense, with familiar faces and an assortment of vivid stages.

How to Play

The name describes it best: Rushdown Rivals is about a fast-paced, one-on-one fighting game. You'll be able to select one of the characters, including Pico, Girlfriend, Cassette Girl, and others. Each character has their own moveset and fighting style. Just outplay your opponent using punches, kicks, special attacks, and hazards of the stage. You'll be able to battle in different modes: Standard, endless challenges, or freeplay so you can battle anytime you want.

Tips & Tricks

Master Your Characters: Each character has their own strong points and weak points; spend some time getting to know the moveset better so you can work your way through it.
Use the Stage to Your Advantage: Some maps feature interactive elements that can completely turn the tide of a fight, so try to be aware when you might use them.
Work on Combos: Try out various combo moves to mix your attacks up and chip away at your opponent's health.
Keep Moving: Never stand still; constantly move around and dodge attacks to give your foes a hard time landing a hit.
