What is Centipede (Revision 4)?

The classic arcade game Centipede (Revision 4) is a fully modernized reissue. This retro-style shoot 'em up features the player controlling a cannon at the bottom of the screen and shooting waves of alien insect hordes descending downward. Essentially, you clear a grid of bugs with your cannon, earning points and power-ups along the way. It is a fast-action, nostalgic treat that provides the original gameplay to the newer generation of players.

How to Play

It is a treat for simplicity and addictiveness; move your cannon to the left or right by pressing the corresponding arrow keys. Firing bullets from the cannon destroys the bugs. Make sure to not get touched by any bug, be it centipedes moving in a zigzag pattern or spiders and other enemies delighting in complicating matters. Clear each level before the creatures fill the entire screen.Gather power-ups such as bombs and multipliers that will make your mission easier.
