Scorpion was a 1982 arcade game developed by Taito for the Moon Cresta hardware. The side scrolling shoot 'em-up game had an active protagonist with a name derived from its movement: the scorpion battles waves of enemies to save the planet. How to Play

In Scorpion, the player controls the hero, a jetpack-mounted scorpion, to move left and right through an endless scrolling background. The game ends as soon as the player's health values drop; however, the high score system keeps tempting players to make another attempt for an even better score.
