Gameplay

This game is centered around surviving waves of enemies and their spellcards that are extremely potent. Sometimes you play as the shrine maiden Reimu Hakurai while at other times you play as the skilled magician Marisa Kirisame, with each character having his or her special means of moving and shooting. The keyboard controls your actions; arrow keys for movement, shoot, and bomb.

Tricks & Tips

Character Choice: Reimu is slower but fires spells faster than Marisa, who conversely moves faster but fires spells slower. Pick whichever fits your style of play.
Slow Mechanic: Both characters slow while shooting, but the extent of slow varies; master this to always remain accurate in the heat of battles.
Bomb Usage: Cleansing the screen with bombs should be reserved for big calamities. Bombs initially number three, getting an addition each time an enemy is destroyed. So, try not to waste them on every encounter."
Practice Mode: Use practice mode to study boss patterns before officially fighting them.
